Edupunk marches on!

Print your own books!

Last month I shared with you about a publishing house which allows you to freely aggregate textbook  content from their team.  HERE is the article.

Today Kirsten of Edukwest has pointed me to another publishing house which is specializing in helping you publish a book from Wikipedia content.  Here is the link to the short article describing “PediaPress” http://techcrunch.com/2010/05/06/wikipedia-and-pediapress-now-allow-you-to-create-books-from-content-in-english/  This trend towards empowering teachers and learners to choose their materials and streamlining it for their needs is the “brick and mortar” of our future.  Liberating the learning process from the academic elite and institutional control is very exciting.

We may be experiencing a new “Age of Enlightenment” and we are right in the middle of it all.  Wake up and look around! We need partisans in the fight to liberate the oppressed!  Join the revolution, online!
